Why We Choose Nano Brows Over Microblading

Traditional microblading has long been popular for hairstroke-style eyebrows. It uses a handheld blade to make tiny incisions in the skin while depositing pigment. Depending on skin characteristics and the technique used, achieving crisp, evenly healed hairstrokes can be more challenging — particularly on oily, mature, thin or delicate skin.
That's why Laura has chosen to specialise in Hyperrealism Nano Brows rather than traditional microblading. Using a digital cosmetic tattoo machine and an ultra-fine needle, she creates individual, delicate hairstrokes without the blade-based cutting technique used in microblading.
Laura favours this approach for the control it offers over pigment placement and for the soft, realistic-looking finishes she can tailor to each client. It is one of several machine-based brow options available at Bonni Brows, alongside Powder, Ombré and Combination Brows.
Both methods involve pigment being implanted into the skin. Neither guarantees less trauma, better healing or longer-lasting results for everyone; the right option depends on your individual skin, your preferences, the artist's technique and aftercare. Both aim to give the appearance of fuller, more defined eyebrows, but the application methods are different.
Nano Brows
Nano Brows use a cosmetic tattoo machine and a fine needle to create individual hairstroke-style details. If you love the appearance of soft, natural-looking brows, this is a style worth exploring with Laura.
No brow technique is automatically right for everyone. The finished appearance and healing depend on individual skin characteristics, the application and aftercare. Laura can explain the options at your consultation.
